I now know what a nurse in a maternity ward feels like. All I have done all day is watch and help goats give birth. I also had a chicken crap on my head. Woot. I'm so taking a shower when I get home.
On the other hand, all the babies are healthy and strong! Yay.

lol I love it! How cool to watch the goaties give birth :) I've watched sheep and cows a couple times on that James Heriott BBC series, and cats and dogs in real life, but that's it. How cool. Sorry about the chicken crapping on your head, though. Total bummer. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah it was an interesting day. One baby was born without our knowing. We went to check the goats and one of them was standing there with a baby yelling like, "what is this thing?!" the other one had twin boys (the first was a girl, Olivia) and the twins were HUGE!!! Like they're bigger than the ones that were born last week. We named them Pippin and merry from lord of the rings. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I actually cracked up when the chicken crapped on my head. And Molly laughed at me too but then one crapped on her head later so it was fair. Lol
